Heritage Suites Hotel
Just a stone’s throw across the river from downtown Siem Reap is Heritage Suites Hotel, offering a quiet take on classic Indochine luxury. Housed inside a vine-covered French colonial mansion, the hotel is stately enough to look like it’s been untouched for over a century, despite having been newly refurbished in 2015. Inside, you’ll find the sophistication of a pricier establishment, but with all the warmth and charm of a well-run boutique hotel.
Each of the 26 rooms and suites at Heritage Suites Hotel are large enough to hide away for days on end, but if you feel like socialising, there are plenty of opportunities here. The lively cocktail bar never fails to draw a crowd with its weekly jazz nights as well as acoustic performances, while the lofty restaurant organises regular BBQ nights to the backdrop of graceful Apsara dancers. If you need to unwind after a long day of sightseeing, dive into the saltwater swimming pool or have your sore limbs massaged inside the sun-drenched spa. It’s Khmer hospitality at its best – gracious and understated, served with genuine warmth and personality.
